A Byzantine gold solidus coin of Emperor Justinian I the Great (reigned 527-565 AD), struck at the Constantinople mint. Condition noted: extremely fine condition; sharply struck with crisp details to the portrait and reverse angel, full intact legends, and rich original gold luster with minor flan curvature.
