A pair of antique Georgian sterling silver open salt cellars featuring heavily embossed repoussé floral and foliage motifs throughout the bodies. Each piece is raised on three stepped hoof feet, with the bases bearing full 18th-century British hallmarks for George III, London, 1772, including the lion passant, crowned leopard's head, and lowercase gothic date letter -r-, weight 79 grams.
