A well carved Carrara marble example in the manner of the Gaddi Torso, a dramatic representation of a centaur torso fragment in the Grecco Roman classical tradition, resting on a large rectangular base, of which the original is housed in the Uffizi Gallery, Florence, signed MacQueen behind the left leg, 20th century, 20 inches high. Provenance: The Estate of Mr. C. Ross Gledhill, Esquire, Montreal/Knowlton Quebec.
