A rare, early 19th-century Austrian mantel clock featuring carved gilded wood mermaid supports and cast gilded bronze mounts and decorative accents, after Johann Dreyer, circa 1880, a near example housed in the Vienna Museum, 22 x 14 x 6 inches. Condition noted: prior restoration to portions of the sculpted figures, minor surface wear and gilding loss consistent with age and use. In running condition at the time of cataloging.
