1930s Harrison Family Wedding Photos, Historical Portraits, and 1961 NPS & White House Correspondence. An exceptional, historically significant archive of personal photography, ancestral portrait prints, and official White House correspondence related to the Harrison, Nightingale, and Spottswood family lineage. This high-quality collection spans colonial ancestry references to mid-20th-century political connections. Official White House & National Park Service Correspondence (1961): Includes a signed, official thank-you letter from Loraine W. Pearce (the first Curator of the White House under the Kennedy administration), dated October 5, 1961, acknowledging a valued gift of antique "Wallpaper of Zuber Sky". Accompanying the letter is the official United States Department of the Interior National Park Service gratitude certificate signed by Director Conrad L. Wirth on October 30, 1961. A handwritten postscript values the paper fragment at $450–$900 for tax purposes. 1930s High-Society Wedding Photography: A series of large, original black-and-white and toned gelatin silver prints documenting prominent family weddings. Back-stamped and handwritten notations label these as the December 1933 Wedding of Augusta W. Harrison & John T. Nightingale (featuring full bridal party portraits by "Photo-Crafters") and the Wedding of Mary Spottswood Harrison & Robt. L. Daffron. A vintage portrait print labeled "Spottswood, Gov. of Va." representing Colonial Governor Alexander Spotswood. A fine portrait print of Colonel Robert Spottswood born Dec 1841, reproduction from an October 1913 painting by famed portraitist Oswald Birley. A formal portrait of L.R.
