Maker: Benjamin Smith Date: London, 1799, This exceptional Georgian-era meat platter features a beautifully executed, scalloped border accented with a crisp alternating gadroon-and-shell rim. The wide rim is masterfully engraved with a personalized, impaled heraldic coat of arms.
