Five Pieces Clear Pressed Glass Serving Ware

Five pieces of clear pressed glass in the older American pattern-glass tradition, none of them carrying a maker mark. (1) A shallow three-footed bowl with applied ball feet and a satin-frosted grape, leaf, and wheat design around the rim. (2) A ten-sided deep bowl with frosted flowers set between ribbed panels. (3) A small creamer with a ribbed body, applied handle, and a molded daisy star in the base. (4) An open lace-edge plate, its rim pierced with alternating large and small loops around a raised center ring, in the style of the laced-edge plates made from the 1930s onward. (5) A heavy plate with a cube-faceted scalloped rim and a deep sunburst star cut into the center. Condition is good; light scratching and use haze are present on the flat surfaces, and no chips, cracks, or flakes were seen along the rims or feet in the photos. Unmarked pressed glass of this type was made by several American factories, and pattern matching by shape is the usual way collectors identify it. Sold as-is.
