and Silver-Chased Bangle.

Inner Diameter:58?mm Wt:65g
Executed in 1860 by Fanni??re Fr??res, this piece pays homage to Louis?XVI?style aesthetics. The bracelet is composed of four sections. Its surface bears silver relief carvings illustrating four thematic scenes: hunting, gardening, fishing and ploughing. The pivot terminals linking each relief plaque are accented with silver floral ornaments, finely detailed and tastefully conceived, rendering it highly collectible. The Fanni??re brothers, Auguste and Louis, were exceptionally gifted carvers and creators. According to "le Dictionnaire du bijou" by Isabelle Lucas, they worked for major masters including Baugrand, Duron, Froment?Meurice and the renowned Wi??se. "Fanni??re Fr??res" Founded in 1839 by Fran?ois?Auguste Fanni??re (Longwy, 1818?1900) and Fran?ois?Joseph?Louis Fanni??re (Longwy, 1820?1897), nephews and pupils of the goldsmith Fauconnier. Ranked among the most respected Parisian goldsmith?jewellers of the 19th?century, they possessed a nearly singular talent for designing and executing their own creations. Alongside large?scale goldsmith works such as centrepieces and racing trophies, they produced jewellery and small objets d'art. Initially supplying prominent houses including Froment?Meurice and Wi??se, they later exhibited under their own name at World's Fairs. They were awarded their first gold medal at the 1862 London International Exhibition, followed by another gold medal in Paris in 1867, and grand prizes at the World's Fairs of 1878 and 1889.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR CANCELLATIONS.

Condition and Authenticity:

Any statement in the catalogue, condition report, photographs, video, invoice, or other written or oral communication regarding the origin, date, age, attribution, authorship, authenticity, provenance, material, condition, or estimated selling price of any lot is a statement of opinion only.
