Athena Goddess 20K Gold Antique Brooch. <br><br>D:2.7cm Wt:7.6g<br>Hand?crafted in 20K gold, combining miniature painted enamel and three?dimensional chased?gold work. Bust portrait of Athena, Greek Goddess of Wisdom (Minerva in Roman mythology). Mounted on a 20K gold base; the background is engraved with wavy textures via guilloch?? technique and overlaid with translucent red enamel, creating flowing light?and?shadow effects when light passes through. The central hand?painted enamel portrait delicately renders the goddess's facial features and hair colour. She wears a winged spiked helmet. Chasing and relief techniques lend dimensionality to gold elements. The border is set with multiple old?cut diamonds, and small accent diamonds adorn her shoulders, accentuating divine splendour and opulence.
