Series: Franklin Half Dollar (1948–1963), designed by John R. Sinnock.Obverse: Portrait of Benjamin Franklin facing right, with “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the date 1952. The “D” mint mark is visible to the right of the date.Reverse: Liberty Bell with crack, small eagle to the right, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and “HALF DOLLAR.”Composition: 90% silver, 10% copper; weight 12.50 grams; actual silver weight ˜ 0.3617 oz; diameter 30.6 mm; reeded edge. Franklin’s hair and cheek show remaining detail but with noticeable wear, softness on high points, and contact marks. The Liberty Bell has good overall definition, but the lower horizontal “bell lines” appear incomplete or worn (Full Bell Lines / FBL is not present).Surfaces show typical circulation or light bag-mark wear with remaining luster in protected areas.Overall appearance is consistent with Extremely Fine (XF-40 to XF-45) to About Uncirculated (AU-50 to AU-58), possibly low Mint State (MS-60 to MS-62)
