1951 Franklin Half Dollar (Philadelphia, no mint mark), 90% silver.Obverse shows Benjamin Franklin facing right with the date 1951.Reverse features the Liberty Bell with the small eagle to the right. No mint mark is visible above the beam of the bell (the position used for D or S marks), confirming it is a Philadelphia issue.Composition: 90% silver / 10% copper (ASW ˜ 0.3617 troy oz).Mintage: approximately 16.8 million Visible wear on Franklin’s cheek, jaw, and high points of the hair.Loss of original mint luster; surfaces appear duller with some toning and contact marks.
