This Kodak Brownie Starmeter is a 127 roll film camera featuring a two-tone tan and gray molded plastic body with a textured metal faceplate. The camera is equipped with a Kodak f/8 fixed aperture lens and a built-in selenium light meter housed behind a honeycomb-textured window. The top plate features a manual exposure value calculator dial with settings for ASA film speeds of 32, 40, 50, 64, 80, 100, and 125, corresponding to exposure values 12 through 16. The back of the camera includes a circular viewfinder eyepiece and a single red window for frame counting. An attached black woven fabric neck strap is included. Height: approx. 3.25 inches (measured against a ruler). Condition: The camera presents in good vintage cosmetic condition with light surface wear and dust consistent with age. The plastic housing is free of visible cracks or major damage. The lens appears relatively clear with some surface dust. The selenium meter needle is responsive to light, though its calibration has not been checked. The shutter and internal film transport mechanisms are untested.
