A pair of glazed ceramic candlesticks, likely earthenware, finished in a creamy white high-gloss glaze. Each piece features a fluted baluster-form stem decorated with a central band of hand-applied sprigged foliate and floral motifs including roses and leaves. The stems rise from wide, faceted octagonal bases with raised radiating ribs. The candle cups are fluted and slightly flared at the rim. The underside of each base features a hand-painted mark in blue underglaze, displaying a stylized cursive character above the word Italy. Dimensions: Height approx. 32 cm. Condition: Overall good condition. A chip is present on the outer bottom edge of one base. The applied floral elements show minor firing cracks and small points of glaze wear. Minor surface soiling and localized glaze crazing are visible across the surface.
