TECHNICAL SPECS: Diameter: 34mm Material: silver Fineness: 0.9999 Weight: 15.87 grams Bullion Weight: 0.510 Troy Ounces Description This pure silver proof $10 coin uses Robert Ganz’s winning image in the 2011 Canadian Geographic Magazine Photo Contest as inspiration for the design. The photographer’s talent and perfect timing came together as he captured a praying mantis delicately perched on a grass seed head. The Royal Canadian Mint has recreated this image in just over half an ounce of pure silver with a near flawless proof quality finish. The mintage for this coin is limited to just 7,500 coins. As a pure silver coin, this item is exempt from GST/HST.
