Struck by the Royal Canadian Mint in 99.99% pure silver, this piece stands as a powerful tribute to peace, remembrance, and the profound sacrifices made during the Second World War. Mintage is limited to 25,000. HST/GST exempt. The Design Designed by Canadian artist Peter Mossman, the reverse pays tribute to Canada's armed forces. It features detailed portraits of personnel from the Navy, Army, and Air Force, set against a majestic maple leaf and the iconic "V" for Victory inspired by Winston Churchill. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. The End of WWII Six years of global conflict forever changed the world, and Canada met the challenge with unwavering bravery. More than one million Canadians stepped forward to serve, and over 45,000 gave their lives for the cause of freedom.
