This vintage mid-century pressed glass centerpiece basket by the L.E. Smith Glass Company is decorated in the elegant Feather pattern, also known as Feather Fern or Herringbone. The piece features a stylized leaf design with structured chevron ribs sweeping upward to form a dramatically scalloped, wavy rim. A thick, smooth applied glass handle loops over the center, and the interior base features a concentrated hobnail or concentric dot pattern. It stands on a low circular foot and measures approximately fourteen inches long, six inches wide, and eleven inches tall. In terms of condition, the clear crystal glass displays excellent transparency with minimal surface wear, but closer inspection reveals a small chip or manufacturing fleabite on one of the inner decorative ridges along the interior wall, alongside standard faint scuffing on the underside ring from display
