Roseville Florentine Art Pottery Gate Vase

Updated September 8, 2026

This vintage 1920s Roseville Pottery Florentine double bud gate vase features an architectural bridge design inspired by Italian Tuscan motifs. Crafted in 1924, it showcases textured brown panels decorated with embossed green grapevines and cascading grape clusters hanging in the center. The piece is flanked by a pair of columnar candle or bud cups set on decorated pedestal bases and measures approximately eight and a half inches long, three inches wide, and four and a half inches tall. The underside displays a hand-incised blue mark. Regarding condition, the glaze exhibits standard age-related crazing visible across the surface, along with some light soil in the crevices and minor shelf wear or rough factory spots on the unglazed foot rings.
