GSID: 205.1816 Make: Colt Model: Army Special Serial #: 339551 Caliber: .41 Barrel Length: 4.5" Low Estimate: 750.00 High Estimate: 1,000.00 Colt Army Special double action six shot revolver in .41 caliber w/ a 4.5" barrel plus niter blued polished hammer & niter blued trigger. The smooth faux pearl two-piece grips are excellent w/ Rampant Colt silver colored discs inset at the top of both panels. Markings are sharp, action crisp & the bore/rifling are near excellent. Comes w/ a beautifully hand-made hardwood display case showing a rich black padded interior plus a professionally-produced metal oval attached to the inside of the case's lid proclaiming "45 CALIBER COLT DOUBLE ACTION, SERIAL NUMBER 121998, WAS MANUFACTURED IN HARTFORD CONNECTICUT ON JUNE 2ND 1887 (Note: this date is incorrect (should be 1912)".
