GSID: 153.1997 Make: Golden Eagle by Nikko Model: 7000 Serial #: N009835 Caliber: .300 Weatherby Mag Barrel Length: 26" Low Estimate: 800.00 High Estimate: 1,200.00 Golden Eagle Model 7000 by Nikko bolt action sporting rifle, .300 Weatherby Magnum cal., 26" barrel, blue finish, deluxe walnut skipline checkered one-piece Monte Carlo stock with a rosewood fore end, inlaid grip cap and sling eyes, no sights, Weaver two-piece bases and rings, jeweled bolt, gold trigger, tang safety, clear factory markings. Mfg. from 1976-1981, the rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining 95-96% toning finish with scrapes and areas of finish loss along the barrel, due to poor storage. The receiver shows minor edge wear and storage marks. The stock is in fine condition with scuffs and scrapes, displaying sharp checkering detail. The buttstock ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 14" LOP. The bore is near excellent with crisp rifling, showing little use. The action is smooth and locks up securely. Marketed by Golden Eagle of Houston, Texas, the Model 7000 was mfg. in Japan by Nikko. (Modern).
