GSID: 149.1918 Make: Savage Model: 24 Serial #: NVSN Caliber: .22 LR / .410 Ga Barrel Length: 24" Low Estimate: 400.00 High Estimate: 600.00 Savage Model 24 O/U Combo gun, .22 LR / .410 Ga., 24" barrels (3" chamber/ IM Choke), blue and color case hardened finish, smooth walnut two-piece pistol grip stock, ramped blade front and standard U notch rear sights, color case hardened receiver, single trigger, clear factory markings. Mfg. from 1950-1965, the gun is in near fine overall condition, retaining 90-95% thinning finish on the barrels with wear at the muzzles and minor marks. The receiver displays muted color case hardened finish with light edge wear and storage marks. The trigger guard shows numerous scrapes and scuffs, going to gray patina. The stock is in very good condition with scrapes, scuffs and indentations consistent with field use. The buttstock ends with a ribbed hard-rubber butt plate, providing a 14.25" LOP. The bores are bright and the action functions well. (C&R).
