Set of three nesting tables made of wood with a gilded finish, each decorated with ornate, embossed floral and scroll motifs on both the tabletop and edges. The tables are graduated in size, allowing them to nest beneath each other for compact storage. Their legs are cabriole style, and the gilt is accented with areas of hand-painted detailing in a classic Italianate style, reminiscent of the Florentine decorative tradition popular in the mid-20th century. Visible wear to the gilding isnoted, consistent with age and previous use. The measurements are 23" H x 21" W x 13" D, 20" H x 16.5" W x 12" D and 17" x 12" W x 12" D.
