E Gonzales "En la Cocina" Exhibition Signed Post

This 1998 exhibition poster by New Mexico artist Edward Gonzales captures a warm Southwestern domestic scene measuring 22" x 18". The central artwork displays a young boy reading aloud from an open book while sitting on a wooden chair near a smalldog, alongside his grandmother as she prepares food at a vintage stove. The Spanish caption reads, "En la cocina con un libro mientras su abuela preparaba la comida es Como Aprendi' Mi Pap' A Leer," which translates to "In the kitchen with a bookwhile his grandmother prepared food is How My Father Learned To Read." Published by Edward Gonzales Studio, this poster features a hand-signed artist signature in black marker across the bottom right, in addition to the printed signature within the artwork, showing light surface rippling across the sheet.
