This server or sideboard was produced by Imperial Furniture Co. of Grand Rapids, Michigan, in the late 1930s to 1940s. Constructed with solid wood in a traditional Jacobean and Tudor Revival style, it features a rectangular top, decorative scalloped and reeded apron, paneled front, and prominent turned front legs joined by a stretcher base. The central cabinet door, fitted with a brass-tone drop pull, opens to reveal interior storage space. It retains the original Imperial Grand Rapids label and is marked with the number 920. The piece shows moderate surface scratches, finish wear, discoloration, and light nicks to the tabletop, frame, and legs in keeping with its age and use. It measures approximately 41 inches long, 15.75 inches wide, and 32.25 inches high. Overall, structurally sound and representative of its era's craftsmanship.
