A collection of vintage paper sewing patterns from the 1970s and 1980s, featuring examples from manufacturers Simplicity, McCall's, and Butterick. The group includes several patterns from Nolan Miller's Dynasty TV series collection with actresses Diahann Carroll and Joan Collins, a Jones New York Sport pattern, and a Simplicity Jiffy pattern (No. 6960). Visible pattern numbers include McCall's 9250, 9243, and 9246, with original retail prices ranging from $1.35 to $6.20. The collection is housed in a silver-tone aluminum-style hard briefcase featuring a textured diamond-pattern exterior, a black plastic handle, and dual metal latches. The interior of the case is fitted with adjustable gray foam-lined dividers and multiple black organizational pockets in the lid. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): Width approx. 18.5 in x Depth approx. 12 in. Condition: The paper pattern envelopes exhibit age-related wear including yellowing, creasing, and tears at the edges and corners. The aluminum case shows light exterior scuffing and surface scratches consistent with use. The interior foam and fabric pockets appear intact.
