This collection features a variety of domestic textiles and blankets in different weights and textures. The group includes a light blue matelassé bedspread with a floral scrolling pattern and scalloped edges. A white label on this item identifies it as 80 percent cotton and 20 percent polyester, size double/queen (2 PLACES / GRAND LIT), made in China with the registry number RN 90423. Also included is a solid blue blanket finished with a wide gold-tone satin binding. Woven items consist of a tapestry-style throw featuring heart and house motifs, several Mexican-style striped blankets with fringed ends, and a plaid throw with colorful fringe. The collection further contains two crocheted pieces: a multi-colored granny square blanket in brown, orange, yellow, and blue, and a cream-colored blanket with raised floral motifs. Several printed fabric remnants, including a holiday-themed poinsettia pattern, are also present. Light blue matelassé bedspread (folded): approx. 28 inches, measured against a ruler Granny square blanket (folded): approx. 22 inches, measured against a ruler. Condition: The textiles exhibit varying degrees of wear consistent with domestic use. Surface pilling is visible on the blue blanket with satin binding. The plaid throw shows some unevenness and loose threads in the fringe. The crocheted granny square blanket has occasional loose yarn ends. The matelassé bedspread and floral crocheted pieces appear generally intact.
