A set of vintage optics featuring a pair of Sears Discoverer Zoom binoculars, model 6202-A. These variable magnification binoculars offer a range of 7x to 15x with 35mm objective lenses. The instrument is constructed with a textured black body, a central focus wheel, and a metallic zoom adjustment lever. Specific markings on the eyepiece housings include WIDE ANGLE AT 15X, FULLY AMBER COATED, and a field of view of 46 ft / 1000 yds at 15X. The serial number CD-01657 is present, and the central hinge is marked JAPAN. The set is accompanied by a matching black hard-sided carrying case with a snap-latch closure and shoulder strap, as well as protective lens caps embossed with the Sears logo. Width: approx. 7.5 inches (measured against a ruler). Condition: The binoculars appear in used condition with visible surface dust and light wear to the textured finish and metallic components. The carrying case shows moderate wear and scuffing to the exterior and shoulder strap.
