A collection of three glazed ceramic kitchenware items featuring various heart motifs. The group includes a heart-shaped teapot and a matching heart-shaped lidded canister by Mesa, both decorated in a red and white color palette. The heart-shaped teapot features a red body with a central white heart design, a red lid with a white heart knob, and white heart accents on the red handle and spout. The matching canister displays alternating bands of red and white with heart and polka dot patterns. Also included is a tall, bulbous teapot by Cates Ware in a deep burgundy glaze, decorated with pink stylized heart scrollwork and floral sprays. The Cates Ware teapot features a domed lid with a spherical knob and is marked on the underside with dishwasher-safe instructions and a Los Angeles, California design attribution. The Mesa items include a printed maker mark on the base and a retail label. Tall teapot height: approx. 9.5 inches Canister height: approx. 7.5 inches Heart-shaped teapot height: approx. 6.5 inches Measured against a visible tape measure. Condition: The collection is in good overall condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration. Minor shelf wear and faint staining are present on the unglazed foot rims of all pieces.
