A Heywood-Wakefield seven-drawer tall chest of drawers manufactured by Knechtel Furniture Limited. The traditional-style wooden case features a medium-brown finish and is configured with three small top drawers above four full-width drawers. The unit is fitted with brass-toned batwing bail pulls and rests on bracket feet. The interior of one drawer is branded with a circular mark featuring an eagle logo and the text HEYWOOD-WAKEFIELD, EST. 1826, MADE IN CANADA BY KNECHTEL FURNITURE LIMITED. Condition: The chest is in good overall condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and use, including light scratches and faint abrasions to the finish. Hardware is present and functional. The piece appears free of significant chips or structural damage.
