This lot features two decorative objects: a ceramic mantel clock and a cobalt blue glass vase. The mantel clock is constructed from cream-colored ceramic with a scalloped, bracket-style silhouette and gilded edges. It is decorated with floral transfers of tulips, roses, and lily of the valley, surmounted by an embossed rose at the crown. The clock face is housed in a gold-tone bezel and features a Roman numeral dial marked QUARTZ. The underside retains a fragmented gold foil label. The cobalt blue glass vase has a bulbous lower section and a long, tapering neck with a flared rim. It features a decorative gold band around the shoulder with hand-painted white floral motifs and green foliage. The underside of the vase bears a silver foil label with a central star and text reading STAR and MADE IN JAPAN. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): Clock H approx. 8.5 in x W approx. 7 in; Vase H approx. 8.5 in. Condition: Both pieces show minor surface wear. There is rubbing and loss to the gilded trim on both the clock and the vase, with the vase showing more significant wear to the central gold band. The quartz movement has not been tested and its functionality is not guaranteed.
