A U-shaped firewood cradle constructed of polished brass or brass-plated metal. The carrier features a tubular, arched swinging handle secured to the basin with visible rivets and bolt hardware. The interior and exterior surfaces exhibit a reflective finish. The holder contains several white birch logs for decorative hearth display. Height to top of handle approx. 16.5 inches Width of basin approx. 18.5 inches. Condition: Surface shows signs of age and use consistent with a fireplace accessory, including areas of tarnish, pitting, and minor scratches throughout. The metal exhibits a natural patina.
