EIGHT-PIECE HAND TOOL GROUP - TRUPER DROP FORGED HEDGE SHEARS, SNAP-CUT NO. 191 PRUNING SNIPS MADE IN USA, RED-HANDLED GRASS SHEARS, LOPPER, ARROW-TYPE STAPLE GUN, HEAVY DUTY CAULK GUN, HAND DRAIN AUGER, AND A WOOD-HANDLED COMPASS SAW A mixed group of eight hand tools out of the same garage, covering yard work, shop work, and plumbing. The lot includes a pair of Truper hedge shears with DROP FORGED stamped blades and turned wood handles, a red-handled one-hand grass or hedge shear, a small SNAP-CUT NO. 191 pruning snip marked MADE IN U.S.A., a lopper with aluminum tube handles and black grips, a chrome staple gun of the Arrow T-series pattern with MADE IN U.S.A. and ARROW FASTENER lettering still readable, an orange heavy duty caulk gun with a built-in spout cutter and poker hook, a blue hand-crank drum drain auger, and a wood-handled compass or keyhole saw. Everything is used, most of it is dirty, and the older steel pieces carry rust. Description Truper hedge shears - long drop forged steel blades with a serrated lower blade edge, center pivot bolt, forged tangs, and two turned natural wood handles with metal rivet caps. Blade stamping reads DROP FORGED. One handle is printed TRUPER in red with what reads as AMERICAN ASH beneath it. Overall length measures approximately 22 to 23 inches per the tape-measure photograph. Red-handled grass or hedge shear - single-hand shear with two long dark steel blades, a brass or bronze pivot and spring bracket, and a red painted metal or plastic handle. Overall length measures approximately 14 inches per the tape-measure photograph. No maker mark is visible on this piece, so none is claimed. Snap-Cut pruning snip - small orange plastic-gripped snip with a chrome or bright steel body, a red locking catch, and short curved blades. The body is stamped SNAP-CUT, NO. 191, MADE IN U.S.A. Overall length measures approximately 8.5 inches per the tape-measure photograph. Lopper - forged steel cutting head on two aluminum tube handles with orange collars at the head and black molded rubber grips at the ends. Overall length measures approximately 20 to 21 inches per the tape-measure photograph. A strip of masking tape or a label remnant is wrapped around one handle; nothing on it is legible and nothing is claimed from it. No maker mark is visible on the lopper, so none is claimed. Staple gun - chrome-plated sheet-steel body of the familiar squeeze-handle pattern, with an oval hand opening and a steel trigger lever. The raised lettering on the body read
