VINTAGE HAND-FINISHED LIGHT GREEN BLOWN GLASS WATER PITCHER - RAISED DOT OPTIC WITH APPLIED HANDLE Handsome tall vintage water pitcher in transparent light green glass with an all-over field of raised rounded dots, a tri-lobed pinched rim with a pouring lip, and a thick applied green handle finished with a pinched tail where it meets the body. The glass is blown rather than pressed, so the color pools deeper green between the dots and thins to near-clear across the dot faces, giving the whole piece a lively glow when it is set in a window or against a light background. A generous size for iced tea, lemonade, or water service, and equally at home as a standalone display piece or filled with cut flowers or long-stem branches. Sold as one piece. Description Form: tall pear-shaped body on a tooled applied foot ring, waisted neck opening to a tri-lobed pinched rim with a pronounced pouring lip Glass: transparent light green, blown, with a full field of large raised rounded dots covering the body and neck Handle: applied green glass strap handle, thick at the upper attachment and drawn down to a pinched tail terminal at the lower join, with visible hand tool marks Measures approximately 10" to 11" tall per the tape-measure photograph; the base of the tape is not visible in frame, and the body appears roughly 6" across at the widest point, so bidders should verify all dimensions from the photographs ondition Used vintage condition, sold as-is. The pitcher presents very well in the photographs with bright clean glass, good clarity, no cloudiness or interior haze, and strong even color. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible in the photographs. The handle join looks sound in the photographs with no stress lines apparent at either attachment. Faint interior scratching and light base wear consistent with age and use may be present. Small bubbles, faint straw marks, and slight asymmetry in the rim and dot spacing are characteristic of hand-finished blown glass and are not damage. The pinched rim edges, the pouring lip, the applied handle and its lower tail terminal, and the outer edge of the foot ring are the vulnerable areas on a piece like this and should be examined closely.
