Antique Early American Pattern Glass covered oval serving dish in the Amazon, also known as Sawtooth Band, pattern by Bryce Brothers. Dating to the late 19th century, this clear pressed-glass piece features the bold all-over diamond-point pattern associated with the line, an eye-catching sawtooth rim, and highly decorative molded lion-head side handles. The matching domed lid has a distinctive lion-head finial supported by two molded lion forms, creating an impressive centerpiece profile. The underside of the base displays a central starburst motif within a smooth oval panel. This is a substantial and attractive EAPG serving piece for candies, nuts, mints, small desserts, or display in an antique pressed-glass collection. Measures approximately 8 inches wide including handles and approximately 4 inches high with lid, as shown in the photographs. Condition appears good overall for age, with no obvious chips or cracks noted during photography. Please carefully review all photographs for exact condition, clarity, wear, and pattern detail before bidding.
