Vintage Fostoria American No. 2056 clear pressed-glass cake stand with scalloped serving plate, raised geometric cube pattern, and hollow footed pedestal base. Fostoria identified this form as a "Cake Stand"; the pattern is known for its heavy clear glass and distinctive faceted American design. Stand measures approximately 10 inches across the rim and approximately 4 inches tall, based on the pattern reference and photos. The plate has a flowing scalloped edge and no center indentation, making it suitable for a whole cake, pies, pastries, cookies, finger foods, or an elevated centerpiece display. The base carries the raised cube-and-diamond texture associated with the Fostoria American pattern, while the top plate has a matching faceted design. This cake stand was produced from 1978 through 1983, giving it a relatively short production run within the larger American pattern line.
