A collection of American Flyer S-gauge model train components featuring two-rail tinplate straight and curved track. The group includes six remote-control switches and three transformers, including a Model 8B 100-watt unit. Items bear embossed and printed markings reading AMERICAN FLYER MFD. BY THE A. C. GILBERT CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. The lot includes original 3/16 inch scale instruction manuals and catalog ephemera. Components display expected wear for their age, including surface oxidation on metal tracks and minor paint loss to transformer housings. Several switches are missing protective covers. Paper ephemera shows heavy creasing. This item has not been tested.
