Contemporary Southern folk art face jug by Huey and Anne Wheeler of Dawson, Georgia. The hand-turned, wood-fired stoneware features a glossy dark olive tobacco-spit/alkaline drip glaze, prominent bug eyes, deeply incised eyebrows, large flared ears, and an exaggerated grin with hand-carved white teeth.
