Two Southern folk art face jugs, including a blue glazed jug by Stanley Ferguson of Gillsville, Georgia, and a textured jug by R.W. Wright of Lenoir, North Carolina. The Ferguson jug features expressive eyes, sculpted devil horns, and white china shards forming the teeth. The Wright jug has an earthy, mottled glaze with deeply carved wrinkles and an asymmetrical facial expression. Both reflect traditional Southern folk pottery and face jug traditions
