Harrison Bros. & Howson / E.P. on Copper Two feature elaborate floral and shell-moulded borders with removable lids surmounted by ornate oval wreath-form handles. One of these pieces is marked “E.P. on Copper – Made in England”, indicating electroplate over a copper base. The remaining two have a more restrained rectangular form with stepped covers and decorative removable handles. One photographed base is stamped “Harrison Bros. & Howson, Sheffield – ENG”, a well-known Sheffield manufacturer of silver and silver-plated wares.
