An elegant Richard Ginori porcelain dinner service, produced by the historic Manifattura di Doccia, Florence, Italy. Pieces bear the Richard Ginori / Manifattura di Doccia Firenze Italy backstamp. The service is decorated in a classic Italian Fruits and Flowers style, with individually scattered botanical sprigs, blossoms, berries, cherries, plums and other fruits on a white porcelain ground. Each piece is finished with a distinctive cobalt-blue feathered/scalloped border and gilt trim. The combination of finely painted naturalistic decoration, shaped rims and gold accents gives the service a sophisticated traditional appearance.
