Make: Winchester Model: 58 Caliber: .22 S/L/LR Action: Bolt Barrel: 16 Bore: Shiny Serial # NSN Condition: Good The Winchester Model 58 is a classic, lightweight, single-shot bolt-action rifle with an 18”barrel chambered for .22 caliber rimfire cartridges from .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle. Manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company between 1928 and 1931, it was designed as an ultra-affordable "boy's rifle" during the onset of the Great Depression. Single-shot bolt action. The bolt is used to chamber the round, but the rifle must be manually cocked by pulling the firing pin head backward before firing. Winchester produced and sold exactly 38,992 units before dropping it from their catalog due to it cannibalizing sales of their own slightly higher end Model 02. In its original patina, with a straight wood stock, and iron sights. It definitely has been used but this rifle will still go a long way! Has some scratches and dings in the stock. Please see photos.
