This is where you enter the highest amount you are willing to pay for an item and the computer will automatically bid up to your Max amount in the increments set by the auction. Example: if the bid is at $100.00 and you put in a Max bid of $500.00 you would be the high bidder at $110.00 provided that no one else has placed a higher Max bid than you. It requires Someone to bid against you to increase your bid, just like a live auction. If the auction ends at $110.00 that is what you pay, not your max bid of $500.00. Note: This is a soft close auction, therefore any time someone bids within the last 2 minutes of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to give other bidders a chance to bid.
