Henry McDaniel Watercolor Sight 18" x 26.25" Frame 25.5" x 33.75" Signed lower left. Henry McDaniel, of Quincy, Massachusetts, was a self-taught artist. His sporting art contemporaries included Ogden Pleissner, Aiden Lassell Ripley, and John Whorf. McDaniel was a respected angler and avid outdoorsman, which enabled him to critically study the landscapes, rivers, and streams he represented in his watercolor paintings.Note: Large paintings in this auction will need to be safely packed and shipped with an outside shipper.
