Horace Contranchis (b.1928) Louisiana 4.75" long Little is known of Contranchis, as he did not produce in vast quantities, but all cane calls that we are aware of bear his classic hallmark of being painted almost as if in a camouflage pattern. It renders the call with a folky appealing look. His calls use a metal reed mostly cut from Coca-Cola scrap.Condition: Excellent and originalProvenance: Don Weaver CollectionLiterature: Darren J.
