Davey W. Nichol (1890-1977) Smith Falls, Ontario, Canada 17.5" Working black duck with the original swing weight keel. Slender neck and elevated head with glass eyes and carved bill details. Scratch feather paint across the body and extending down the center back over the stamped loop feathering. Deelpy relief carved wings that flow back to two separate points with relief carved primary weights. Incised tail feathering. Retains the original leather rigging.Condition: Very good and original with slight chipping to wing tips and bill edge. Scattered paint loss.
