This vintage Japanese porcelain covered sugar bowl features delicate hand-painted pink rose garlands, soft peach lusterware accent bands, and fine gilt highlights on the handles and finial knob. Designed in a classic double-handled silhouette with a fitted lid, the piece displays smooth glaze work and traditional floral detailing. Stamped on the base in green with a double-ringed "G" hallmark and "Made in Japan," the dish is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Dating from the early-to-mid 20th century (circa 1920s–1940s), Japanese porcelain exports were widely celebrated across North America for their fine hand-painted craftsmanship, delicate luster glazes, and classic Western-inspired tableware forms. Pieces from this era offer timeless elegance, serving as a charming addition to any vintage tea set, porcelain display, or collection of Japanese china.
