This lot features a framed portrait photograph of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky dressed in a formal suit and tie, presented with a gold-tone inner accent trim inside a black frame. Affixed to the back of the frame is a typed statement of provenance signed by photographer Tom Barnes. The document notes that the photograph was taken in Moncton, New Brunswick in 1977 during a Zurich Insurance convention where a young Gretzky was invited as a special guest to launch a Safe Driving Campaign.
