This 2020 Royal Canadian Mint $100 fine silver sculpture coin honors the iconic tradition of the RCMP Musical Ride. Issued to mark 100 years since the Royal Northwest Mounted Police became the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, this piece features a fully three-dimensional, gold-plated silver statuette of a Mountie atop a galloping horse rising directly from the coin's base. Designed by Canadian artist Julius Csotonyi and sculpted by Mint engraver Alex Tirabasso, it is struck in 10 oz of 99.99% pure silver with selective 24-karat gold plating. The coin comes complete in its original glass dome display case alongside its official Royal Canadian Mint box and certificate of authenticity. Preserved in excellent condition inside its protective dome enclosure, this piece stands as a standout issue for collectors of Royal Canadian Mint coins, RCMP memorabilia, and fine silver sculpture art.
