Colorful collection of Mexican Talavera-style pottery, with most pieces marked Castillo, Mexico. This decorative lot features an assortment of hand-painted ceramics with vibrant floral and geometric patterns in blue, green, orange, red, yellow, and white. The collection includes soap dishes, decorative trays/plates, small bowls, a tumbler or cup, and a lidded trinket box, with a variety of rectangular, square, round, and scalloped forms. Several pieces bear Castillo Mexico markings on the underside, while at least one piece is marked Mexico with an additional handwritten attribution. Great assortment for Southwestern, Mexican folk art, hacienda, Talavera, or eclectic décor. Pieces are preowned and show varying degrees of light surface wear and imperfections consistent with handmade pottery. One plate has a small chip, and there may be minor glaze irregularities, small marks, or edge wear throughout. See photos for details and condition.
