This solid cherry wood Windsor armchair features a sack-back design with thirteen turned spindles and out-scrolled arms. The saddled seat rests on splayed, ring-turned legs joined by an H-stretcher. The underside is stamped in black uppercase letters STICKLEY FAYETTEVILLE SYRACUSE and stenciled with the model number 7024. This piece represents the Colonial Revival aesthetic from the maker's Syracuse production. 41.5 inches tall by 28 inches wide by 19 inches deep. Good vintage condition. Significant finish wear and rubbing along the front edge of the seat. Feet show expected scuffing and finish loss. Scattered nicks and light surface scratches throughout.
