Armytage at thebottom right margin). It is based on an original historical painting by the famous painter and illustrator Henry Warren (credited at the bottom left margin).Origin & Date: This print was originally published in 1861 by Virtue & Company (NewYork/London) as an illustrative bookplate for the prominent historical volume Battles of America by Sea and Land.
